Für einzelne Stammkunden und Schüler stelle ich noch regelmäßig Fagott-Mundstücke (Rohre) her. Da ich aber neben meinen anderen Tätigkeiten nur noch begrenzt Zeit für den Rohrbau habe, kann ich leider keine neuen Bestellungen für Rohre annehmen. I still regularly make bassoon mouthpieces (reeds) for a few regular customers and students. However, since I have limited time for reed-making alongside my other activities, I’m afraid I cannot accept any new orders for reeds. Rohrbau-Erfahrung / reed-making experience
Den Rohrbau erlernte Yumi Deger bereits im Alter von 15 Jahren von ihrem ersten Lehrer Prof. Masayuki Okamoto. In Meisterkursen und Workshops sammelte sie zahlreiche, wertvolle Ideen zum Rohrbau von Fagottisten wie Prof. Masayuki Okamoto, Motoko Kawamura, Valentino Zucchiatti, Prof. Ulrich Hermann, Ovidio Danzi, Prof. Dag Jensen, Prof. Malte Refardt, Prof. Georg Klütsch, Higinio Arrue Fortea, Prof. Guilhaume Santana, Prof. David Seidel, Prof. Matthias Racz und Maurizio Orsini. Wegen ihres Geschicks und ihrer Erfahrung, von der Auswahl des Materials über die Fertigung der Rohre bis hin zur Fein- und Nachjustierung, wurde sie über die Jahre zu einer gefragten Herstellerin von Mundstücken und Dozentin für den Rohrbau.

Thanks to her skill and experience – ranging from material selection and reed production to fine-tuning and adjustment – she has become a sought-after maker of bassoon reeds and a lecturer on reed-making over the years.
